Starlink helped save a sailor’s life far off New Zealand’s coast. A sailor became seriously ill and needed urgent medical help. Starlink connected the skipper with a doctor, who guided him through an emergency surgery while a rescue helicopter was on its way. Rescuers lifted him from the boat and flew him to hospital. He survived and later thanked the rescue crew. Starlink is a life-saving technology, bringing expert medical help within reach even far out at sea.
